Ghanaian attacker, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt, netted his second goal in the Dutch Eredivisie when Willem II Tilburg overcame FC Groningen on Saturday.
Wriedt got the opening goal for the home side as they recorded a 2-1 scoreline to triumph over Groningen in the 5th round fixture.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring at the Konig Willem II Stadion as early as the 5th minute after receiving a defense-splitting pass from Gorkem Saglam.
Willem II doubled their advantage in the 24th minute through Moroccan midfielder Dries Saddiki after he was set up Wriedt.
Groningen got their consolation in the 61st minute when Slovakian teenager Tomas Suslov after benefiting from a missed kick by goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther.
Wriedt has featured in all five matches this campaign for Willem II and has scored twice and assisted once in the process.
