The Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen Oforiwaa has stated that former President John Mahama should be arrested and questioned by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) for making statements likely to affect the peace and tranquility of the nation.
According to her, the former stateman’s recent outburst is not only unguarded but it’s a potential recipe for chaos, fear and panic saying the current peace being enjoyed by Ghanaians under the Nana Addo led NPP government cannot be derailed by Mahama and his cohorts.
Jennifer Queen was speaking Tuesday afternoon on Wontumi Tv’s flagship programme “Talk Ghana”, hosted by Oheneba Nana Asiedu.
Former President John Dramani Mahama has said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has learned their lessons in the 2020 general elections.
He said the next elections in 2024 will be a do-or-die affair, especially at the polling stations.
Speaking on Techiman-based Akina FM’s on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, as part of his thank-you tour, Mr Mahama said “This current president has made elections life and death for him, he uses his Delta forces and invisible forces enrolled in the security agencies.
“You see some Military and police officers and ask whether these are indeed officers. They wear earrings and all sort of things and you can’t tell whether this is a police officer or a soldier
We know they have infiltrated the security with some of their people
“Look at what happened at Techiman South the ways they shot at the crowd, it was intended to kill people.
“Mahama should be arrested by the BNI for making such speech.Mahama is not in government and must be arrested for speaking this way,” she emphasized.
Jennifer Queen was emphatically bold that Mahama and his cohorts cannot dare to cause mayhem to destabilize the peace being enjoyed by Ghanaians.
