Veteran Ghanaian musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has recounted his musical journey.
During a performance at Kabfam Legends Night which took place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on January 1, 2023, he opened up about his friend’s contribution to his career.
He credited Nana Acheampong for introducing him to Highlife.
“When I went to Germany, I was doing Gospel until I found Nana Acheampong who introduced me to Highlife. He has played a major role in my music career and I owe him a lot,” Lumba stated in a video sighted by Zionfelix.net.

Daddy Lumba and Nana Acheampong performed their popular song ‘Yee Ye Aka Akwantuom’ together.
Patrons were thrilled at the event.
Nana Acheampong also dispelled the rumours that Lumba and he are not on good terms.
