The secret societies of occultism whose aim is to destroy, kill and steal just to get money are one thing that needs to be abolished in this system because of the kind of way that it destructs mankind’s life.
These acts and groups are mostly seen in Nigeria and more people are being arrested for such an act.
According to news that was published by Punch Newspaper this morning, it has been alleged that the crack team of police detectives, Kwara State Police Command have successfully apprehended 16 suspected cultists, as they confessed to being members of Eiye and Aye confraternities which is found in Nigeria.
According to the information that was shared by Punch, it was learned that while the arrested suspects were going to Oloje in Okoolowo area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital to unleash mayhem on the residents of the area following the attack on one of their members, Police operatives received information about their movement and they immediately dispatched the newly created anti- cultists team to go after them, as it was alleged that the vigilantes in the area also helped in the operation.
It was made known that twelve males and four females were arrested by police operatives and that after they were searched, exhibits like locally made pistols, charms, axes, cutlasses, India hemp were found on them.
However, during the parade, one of the arrested suspect, whose name was given simply as Azeez made it known that he is neither a member of Aiye confraternity or Eye confraternity, as he alleged that it is only India hemp he does sell at Mandela Village and that, he started selling it because after he learned barbing, there was no one to help buy the equipment he needed and that was the reason he ventured into the illegal business.
