The National Identification Authority (NIA) has cautioned applicants of the Ghana card not to sleep at the registration centres.
According to the NIA, the operationalization of the District offices is now permanent hence applicants can visit the centres for registration any day.
The Head of Corporate Affairs at the NIA, Abudu Abdul- Ganiyu made this known on Wontumi TV Morning Show dubbed, ‘The Privilege’
Abdul Ganiyu bemoaned that, “the crowd we are witnessing at the various registration centres are not important. Applicants go there to waste time and cause chaos.”
He indicated that, should the applicant exercise constraint, they will acquire their cards.
