Takoradi Technical Institute Student builds Africa’s first excavator that uses water as fuel


A Ghanaian student has wowed netizens over what he was able to make with his hands.

Essilfie Abraham who is a student of Takoradi Technical School based in Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western region of Ghana is reportedly the first person in the Africa continent to construct an excavator that uses water as a power source.

With reference to a youtube channel ‘High Schools Africa’,Essilfie revealed what went into the building of the excavator.

According to the student, he used cardboard, rubber tubes and water for his excavator.

He further revealed that there were no wires, batteries, sensors, or cables involved in the manufacturing process of the excavator.

The video has attracted intense reactions on social media users particularly Ghanaians over Essilfie’s newly constructed excavator.

Some social media users called on the Ghanaian government to support the brilliant student so his skills can be nurtured well.

Some prompted some social media influencers and tagged some government officials to support the young man making the country proud.
