Vinicius Junior has sent a clear message to Real Madrid over his future amid transfer speculation linking him with a move away from the Spanish capital and has also spoken on the Ballon d’Or
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has sent an emphatic message to the club regarding his future amid transfer speculation.
The Brazilian forward has had somewhat of a breakthrough calendar year and is currently enjoying the best form of his career.
The 21-year-old has already netted 12 goals this campaign – more than double his previous personal best return for an entire season at the club.
Vinicius is viewed as the next big star at Madrid but has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with Manchester United among the clubs said to hold an interest.
This season he has struck up an impressive attacking partnership with Karim Benzema in the Spanish capital and the two are establishing themselves as the best players in La Liga.

Vinicius Junior is now showing the form to fully justify the club’s €45million outlay on his signature four years ago.
Combining electric pace with sharp movement and dazzling dribbling skills, the Brazilian was always an outstanding prospect but is now transforming from a raw diamond to the real deal.
He has netted 12 goals in 22 appearances this campaign including two goals in a virtuoso performance in a Champions League win at Shakhtar Donestk in the group stage.
The Brazilian downed Liverpool in last season’s Champions League quarter finals with a brace and has now developed into one of the best forwards in Europe.
He has now delivered a clear message over his future, stating that there is no point in putting a price tag on him at the club as he has no intention of leaving the Spanish capital.
The Brazilian forward told Spanish TV network Movistar: “Better not to put any price on me, it is better for me to stay here at Real Madrid.”
Such is the player’s rise to prominence, there is a growing belief that Vinicius is a future contender to win the Ballon d’Or award.
Real Madrid players have won the individual crown five times in the last decade – Cristiano Ronaldo lifted the gong four times when he was at the club, with Luka Modric winning the 2018 crown.
Vinicius has shown he is not lacking in confidence by claiming that if he maintains his standard of playing then he will be a contender for the title.
The forward added: “I have to work hard for that award and to keep playing here at this level, to do things well and always to be at my best.
“I keep playing like this, of course I can win it, but the main thing for me is to win with the team and win many titles with Real Madrid.”
For now, Vinicius looks destined to be a superstar and a key player for Real Madrid for the years ahead.
